Apostle Dr. Dedrick L. Benson is a licensed Christian counselor, apostolic leader, mentor, and transformational teacher with over ten years of experience in Christian counseling through Sarasota Academy. A native of Oakland, Mississippi, he now resides in Oxford, Mississippi, where he continues to pour into individuals, families, and communities with wisdom, compassion, and spiritual authority. Answering the call to ministry at an early age, Apostle Benson began preaching the Word at just 17 years old and was elevated to the office of Pastor in 2011. In 2014, he and his wife, Prophetess Deona Benson, founded University of Life Church, now serving as one church in two locations—Oxford and Southaven, Mississippi.

In addition to serving as Founder and Apostle of University of Life Church, Apostle Dr. Benson is a Regional Bishop with Ministry International Institute in Mississippi and the 2nd Presiding Apostle of the Global Dominion Network under Chief Apostle Paul Beard. He is also the Founder and CEO of Full Voice Production, a business dedicated to supporting and promoting church events, concerts, and ministry initiatives. His passion for developing men led to the creation of MPAC (Men Positioned According to Christ), and he actively serves as a mentor with the Operation Life after-school mentorship program. Apostle Benson is a board member and spiritual advisor for Leah’s Restoration House and released his first single, “I Survived,” in January 2017—a powerful testimony of endurance, victory, and faith.

Committed to leadership both within and beyond the church, Apostle Dr. Benson is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., initiated in Summer 2024. He currently serves as the Committee Chair for the Bigger & Better Business Initiative for the Eta Lambda Sigma Chapter, where he champions economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and community advancement. Above all, Apostle Dr. Dedrick L. Benson has a burning desire to see God’s people healed, delivered, and set free to walk in their purpose and destiny fully. He has been married to Prophetess Deona Benson since 2009, and together they are the proud parents of four beautiful children: Madison, Nathan, Aubrey, and Noah.
